Brickman identified an opportunity to acquire a well-known office building in Washington, DC. 1225 19th Street NW is the home to the Palm Restaurant - a popular location frequented by congressman, lobbyists, and television personalities.
Description
The Jefferson Building is an eight-story, completely freestanding office building consisting of 75,000±SF. The above-grade floors contain office space on floors 2-8 with retail space on the first floor and two below-grade levels containing the building’s parking garage and tenant storage area.
Results
Brickman made minor cosmetic upgrades and improved the service of the property. The firm sold the property after only 18 months, which resulted in a significant return on its investment.
