Brickman acquired the fee-simple interest in Plaza 360 in Oakland, California in November 2017. Located in the Uptown District of downtown, the asset is an 8-story office building that totals 113,724 SF. The Property was originally built as two separate buildings: a 3-story building (with a fourth floor added in 1956) constructed in 1920 and an 8-story building constructed in and integrated in 1956. Subsequent to a seismic retrofit in 1990, the asset was renovated in 2008. The building is currently leased to a diverse mix of non-profit, government and for-profit industries. In the next few years, the property will benefit as Uptown Oakland’s residential pipeline is completed. The pipeline is expected to increase walkability and attract more retailers.
