Maritime Plaza is comprised of two office buildings located in the Southeast sub-market of Washington D.C. The buildings are situated within an 11.2-acre secure office park and contain 345,736 square feet of class-A office space. The buildings are situated within a master-planned development that will eventually include additional upscale office properties, as well as a hotel. The acquisition provided Brickman with an opportunity to acquire two top-notch assets in the Washington D.C. market with a credit tenant roster. Since acquisition, occupancy increased from 91% to 100%. Due to an increase in tenant demand, Brickman completed construction on an additional 16,000 square feet and has since sold the asset as 100% leased.
